Singer and Composer, Dato, is a person of culture and peace. He sings in many different languages including English, Russian, Georgian, Turkish, Armenian, and Ukrainian. Dato writes all of his own music.

Dato was born in Tbilisi (Georgia). Since childhood he participated in different musical groups. At the beginning it was “Flash” – one really popular Georgian group in the early 90-ties. Then he sang with the group “Sahe”. It was the first Georgian group which used more than straight lyrics in their songs devoted to relations between man and woman. The group had unbelievable success. Year 2000: The beginning of his solo career. You can find national melodies and soul, reggae and Latina dancing rhythms in Dato’s repertoire. Two concerts in Tbilisi brought a record attendance. Year 2002: The official release of Dato’s first album with the designing name – “I want you to want this". One year after the first album came the release of the second, “I don't want to hurt you". Dato served in the Georgian Parliament. He was elected but his political career was very short because of the famous “revolution of roses”. Dato then moved to Moscow and started everything from the beginning. December 12, 2005 Dato’s first album in Russia, “Sand Dream”, was released. This album includes 16 songs and 2 videos – «Forgive me» and «Sand Dream». Prizes and achievements: - Grand-Prix of «Slaviansky Bazar» musical festival in year 2000; - Grand-Prix of Black Music Festival in Moscow - Special prize of «Voice of Asia» festival (Kazakhstan) - Frequent «Singer of the Year» in Georgia; - Premier «Russian Professional of the Year» - The unique music video «Mahindji Var», Sand Dream, which was made together with an artist from Israel, Ilana Yahav, was produced by the ParanoiaFilm company. It became the laureate of the 15th Moscow International Advertising Festival and participated in the out-of-competition program of “Cannes Lions” festival and «New York Film and video festival». It was also shown at the Short Film Festival Clermont-Ferraud. - The release of the single hit, “Janaia”, which supprised fans of eastern-style RnB - The release of the single hit, “Deja Vu” - His music videos are aired on the best music channels - All of Dato’s songs can be found on iTunes

Presently, Dato is working on his new album in his own sound studio in Moscow. It will be a nice combination of different music styles from euro pop to soul and jazz.
