Клод Штайнер (фр. Claude M. Steiner; 6 января 1935, Париж — 9 января 2017, Юкайа, Калифорния) — американский психолог и психотерапевт, один из создателей трансакционного анализа, исследователь в области теории жизненных сценариев.

Биография

Родился 6 января 1935 года в Париже. После оккупации Франции Гитлером родители Клода вынуждены были бежать в 1939 году в Испанию, потому что отец Клода был евреем. В конце Второй мировой войны семья Штайнеров переехала в Испанию. Всё своё детство Клод провёл в католических школах.

В 1952 году Штайнер уехал в США изучать инженерное дело. В 1958 году он познакомился и стал последователем Эрика Берна, психиатра и основателя школы трансактного анализа в психотерапии. В 1965 году он получил докторскую степень по клинической психологии в Мичиганском университете в Анн-Арборе. Он был одним из основателей и преподавателем Международной ассоциации трансактного анализа.

Штайнер умер на своём ранчо в Юкайе, штат Калифорния, 9 января 2017 года, через три дня после своего 82-летия.

Тематика исследований

Трансакционный анализ. Тематика работ является развитием идей, изложенных Эриком Берном.
