Международная премия Гайрднера[1] (англ. Gairdner Foundation International Award) — ежегодная научная премия, вручаемая Фондом Гайрднера[en]Gairdner Foundation», Канада) за выдающиеся достижения в области медицинских наук. Одна из самых престижных в мире биомедицинских наград, рассматриваемая, как «преднобелевская».

Фонд The Gairdner Foundation был создан в 1957 году Джеймсом Артуром Гайрднером. Первое вручение премий состоялось в 1959 году. На 2009 год премию получили 298 человек из 13 стран, включая 42 канадцев.

Лауреат этой премии традиционно рассматривается как главный кандидат на Нобелевскую премию по медицине.[2] По данным на 2007 год, 69 Нобелевских лауреатов до неё ранее уже получили Международную премию Гайрднера.[3] Премия в размере 100.000 канадских долларов вручается ежегодно, как правило, нескольким (3-6) биологам или медикам от имени Фонда Гайрднера (Канада).
