I Saw Three Ships

I Saw Three Ships (англ.  «Я видел три корабля») — популярная английская рождественская песня. Обычно она считается детской песенкой, ввиду незатейливости слов, наличия повторяющихся строчек и схожести со считалочкой. Самое раннее упоминание о песне датируется XVII столетием (вероятнее всего, Дербишир). Наиболее известный вариант текста песни был опубликован в сборнике Christmas Carols, Ancient and Modern Уильяма Сэндса (1833 год).

Песня звучана в начальных титрах известной экранизации романа Чарльза Диккенса «Дэвид Копперфильд», вышедшей в 1935 г. Песня использована во флэш-сериале Weebl and Bob (эпизод «Christmas 4») и в сериале South Park (эпизод «Классические рождественские песни от мистера Хэнки», в исполнении Шелли Марш; эта версия вошла на диск Mr. Hankey's Christmas Classics). Кавер-версии на песню записали Стинг, Джон Андерсон и Blackmore's Night.
