Discussion on the name of language
[править код]The 'wolamo' is not the name of language that the article intended to refer. That means the name given to the language is not known currently. Todays the language spoken by Wolayta people is Wolayttattuwa or Wolaitta language. The word wolamo was used to disrespect or disregard the people of Wolaita during their war of resistance with Minelik II of Ethiopian empire. Currently, the language of Wolaita people os known as Wolayttattuwa. It is better to take step to fix the article. It is better to redirect with a name that the language is known for, i.e Wolayttattuwa. It would be great if you could help by doing this. Malaalaa (обс.) 14:28, 9 июня 2024 (UTC)
