24th series (a.k.a. 1951) 200 and 200 Deluxe models are identified by the radiator grille which has an empty oval insert, plus a Packard script in block letters on the hood. Taillights are integrated in the fender. there was no rear fender trim. 200 had their own hood ornament that was simplier than the cormorant mascot on 250, 300 and Patrician models.

The 200 range for 1952 stayed withe 288 engine. It was restricted now to sedans. Convertible and Hardtop were transferred in a new "intermediate" model line that consisted of the two 250 models plus the 300 with 127 in. wheelbase. 250s and the 300 now got the 327 c.i. engine, delivering 150 bhp (155 bhp with high compression cylinder head).

25th series (a.k.a. 1952) 200 models are very similar to the 24th series, with a Packard crest on the upper grille lip instead of letters in the hood. Alas, this is not a safe indicator, as Packard used up 1951 hoods and grille shells. Therefore, some 25th series Packards got the letters, and some even got letters and crest. The 200 Deluxe received a more upscale look with the senior's "theethed" grille, and three trim items ("Bottle openers") on each side, both similar to the 250 convertibles and hardtops. The 288 c.i. was still used in 200 and 200 Deluxes, but now exclusively.

For 1953, the 200 line was facelifted and renamed Packard Clipper.
