English: Se (Chinese language: 瑟; pinyin: sè) is an ancient Chinese plucked zither (string instrument). It has a range of 50-25 strings with moveable bridges and has a range of up to five Octaves.

中文：瑟是中国的一种传统弹拨弦乐器。外形类似古琴和筝。瑟有25根弦，每弦有一柱。按五声调式定弦。(图：河南固始縣侯古堆出土的春秋时期的瑟）瑟最早的使用记载于《诗经》（《诗经小雅鹿鸣之之什鹿鸣》：“我有嘉宾，鼓瑟吹笙。”）。在唐朝以前很流行，以后则较少见，但其使用一直延续到现代。
