English: The Posies (website) is an alternative rock/power pop band. It was formed in 1987 in Bellingham, Washington by primary songwriters Jon Auer and Ken Stringfellow. The band has been closely connected to the rejuvenated version of Big Star, another power pop group with a long-running cult following. See also Category:Big Star.
