Name

The official name is "La Barceloneta" as you can see in Ajuntament de Barcelona web page [1], but I don't know how to write "la" in your language. --Vilarrubla 08:23, 14 июня 2009 (UTC)

  • Вообще-то, название статьи было взято из шаблона "Достопримечательности Барселоны" и надо спрашивать автора шаблона. В книжке "Вся Барселона" русское название используется без артикля. Более того, до сегодняшнего дня во многих других языковых разделах Барселонета тоже была без артикля. Так что, право, и не знаю... Ludvig14 12:45, 14 июня 2009 (UTC)
    • In the catalan article it was as "Barceloneta" too, as in other languages but that was an error that have been corrected and the name is "la Barceloneta" and it is used like that, maybe that was the problem, I have search in internet and I have found some sources as "Ла Барселонета", but if in Russian is used Барселонета it has to be Барселонета. --Vilarrubla 13:00, 14 июня 2009 (UTC)
    • Посмотрел, у меня в «Афише» тоже Барселонета, при этом я знаком с Асланянцем (автором) и знаю, что он по образованию специалист по Каталонии, историк. Думаю, надо переименовывать. Будут другие источники, с артиклем - будем думать./ In Russian sources both of us found it is Барселонета, without Ла.       • I think that if you have sources in Russian that don't use Ла is perfect, the ones that I have found where with it, I'm trying to correct some names of "barris de Barcelona". I have seen now that there are some problems with the category "Районы Барселоны" because inside there are articles of "comarques de Catalunya". --Vilarrubla 14:22, 14 июня 2009 (UTC)

        That's fine. In Russian, artiicles in names of places are often omitted, which indeed creates some uncertanties in Frebch, Spanish, Italian and Catalan names. Our rule is that the name of an article is the same as the one found on latest Russian maps issued by the state. If it is not on the maps, like with districts, we look at the sources. For instance, we had a very long discussion on whether the suburb of Paris, La Defence, should be Дефанс or Ля-Дефанс, since both sides found sources supporting their respective positions. --Yaroslav Blanter 15:51, 14 июня 2009 (UTC)

        • Ok, I will have in mind, because I'm correcting several articles in the catalan and spanish wikipedias of neighborhoods of Barcelona that haven't "la/el/les/els" so in extension there were several article in other wikipedias, most of them without sources, so I won't correct the Russian one's for that you have said.
