The Warren Commission concluded that Lee Harvey Oswald purchased an Italian Carcano rifle and telescopic sight (left column, third from top) from this advertisement in March 1963, and used it to assassinate U.S. President John F. Kennedy in Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963.
