During the German-Italian-Bulgarian occupation of Greece (1941-1944) commanded the 28th Regiment of People's Liberation Army of Greece (ELAS) in Western Macedonia.
During the Civil War in Greece (1946-1949) commanded the XI Division, then X Division, and finally headed the Operation department at the General Staff of the Democratic Army of Greece.
Killed in battle in August 1949.
