English: Acrocorinth (Gr. Ακροκόρινθος) is a monolithic rock overlooking the ancient city of Corinth, Greece. It used to be the city's ancient and later, medieval acropolis. The fortifications in view are Venetian. In modern times to protect the habitat of the site (the ruins were already protected) a Natura 2000 protected area was defined, named Akrokorinthos, ID GR2530003, somewhat larger than just the rock.
