Line, by Sarah, daughter of WilliamBates, Esq., and grandson of Joseph Banks, of Scofton, co.Notts., and Revesby Abbey, co. Line. He was born 13February, 1743-4. Married in March, 1779, Dorothy,daughter of William Weston-Hugessen, of Provender, co.Kent, who survived him. He was President of the RoyalSociety from 1778 to 1820, and was created a Baronet in1781. Bentinck, eldest son of Lord Edward Bentinck, Rector of Sigglesthorne 1808to 1868. After G. Richmond. 3. He married at St. Pauls, CoventGarden, 7 September, 1725, Amarantha, eldest daughterand coheir of Captain Wolfran Cornewall, R.N., by ElizabethDevereux, his wife, who survived him (see No. 41).
