ОписаниеGerman helicopter Fletter Fl-282 Hummingbird (Flettner Fl 282 Kolibri) At Seymour 30th September 1945. (51682974993).jpg
The German helicopter Fletter Fl. 282 "Hummingbird" (Flettner Fl 282 Kolibri) at the US Air Force Base Freeman Field.
Flettner Fl. The 282 was the first mass-produced helicopter in the world. The vehicle was mainly used in the Kriegsmarine, as a reconnaissance and artillery fire correction tool. Only 24 cars were produced, since the manufacturing plant in Munich was destroyed by the allied aviation.
After the war, aircraft designer Anton Flettner emigrated to the United States, where he continued his professional career as chief designer at Kaman Aircraft.
While the Public Domain Mark is not intended to be used as a license, community consensus has found that when a copyright holder applies the PDM to their own work, they are declaring their work to be in the public domain.
If a file is tagged PDM by someone other than the copyright holder, a more specific copyright tag such as one found at Commons:Copyright tags/General public domain must be applied. If this is your own work, please use {{Cc-zero}} instead.
