MARIAGE DE S. A. I. LE PRINCE NAPOLÉON AVEC S. A. R. LA PRINCESSE CLOTILDE. Dimanche ù janvier, à dix heures du matin, eut lieu, dans la chapelle privée du palais royal de Turin, La celebration du mariage religieux du prince Napoléon avec Madame Clotilde. -Toute la famille royale, les ministres et grands dignitaires de l'Etat, les présidents du senat et de la chambre assistaient à cette cérémonie. ― La bénédiction nuptiale était donnée par Mgr d’angenna, archevêque de Verceil, assisté des évêques de Casal, Pignerol, Savone et Biella. L'auguste couple était agenouillé sur des coussins au pied de l’autel. Chacun des époux avait à ses côtés deux des évêques, en camail et rochet, comme témoins religieux. -En dehors de la balustrade, à droite,derrière la princesse, se tenait le roi, avec toute la famile royale; à gauche, M. de la Tour-d'Auvergne,ministre de France, avec le général Niel, la maison du prince napoléon et le personnel de la légation. Les hauts dignitaires occupaient le fond de la chapelle. Les dames de la cour avaient pris place dans la tribune. La ceremonie dura une heure et s'accomplit dans le plus grand recueilleinent. -Les nouveaux époux er déjeûnerent ensuite en famille avec les jeunes princes -et Princesses. A une heure et demie, toute la cour partit par un convoi spécial pour Gênes, où des fêtesl'attendaient avant l'embarquement. Le mariage civil n'existant pas en Piémont, cette mallte doit avoir lieu à Paris. BANQUET DES NOCES. Après le mariage et un court déjeuner en famille, le roi Victor-Emmanuel, son gendre et sa fille, accompagnés du prince de Carignan, des ministres et de toute la cour partaient dimanche de Turin, à une heure et demie, pour Gênes. Le voyage fut une ovation d'un bout à l'autre. Les populations bordaient la route sur le passage du convoi, avides d'entrevoir les traits des augustes voyageurs. Dans les gares principales, à Moncalieri, à Aste, à Alexandrie, à Novi, les autorités, la, garde nationale, attendaient avec des adresses et des bouquets. Partout des cris d'enthousiasme, des témoignages d'absolu dévouement. Vers cinq heures et demie, le train royal arrivait à Gênes, où le corps municipal, la milice, les notables de la ville étaient venus au devant du souverain. Une foule immense occupait les abords de la gare et les rues conduisant au palais. — A sept heures, les ministres, les grands dignitaires de la couronne, hôtes du roi pour ce voyage, le général Niel, le ministre de France, et le syndic (maire) de Gênes, M. Morro, prenaient place à la table royale. pour le somptueux banquet des noces.―Au sortir de ce festin, le roi, la princesse, les princes et la plupart des personnages présents se rendirent au théâtre Carlo-Felice, magnifiquement éclairé à giorno. — S. M. et les augustes époux y furent reçus avec une indicible effusion. La famille royale quittait la salle à onze heures.―La ville était illuminée, et les lignes d'architecture du palais, ressortant enflammées sur le ciel sombre, offraient un coup d'œil vraiment magique. MATRIMONIO DI S.A. IL PRINCIPE NAPOLEONE CON S.A.R. LA PRINCIPESSA CLOTILDE. Domenica di gennaio, alle dieci del mattino, nella cappella privata del palazzo reale di Torino si è svolta la celebrazione del matrimonio religioso del principe Napoleone e di Madame Clotilde. -A questa cerimonia hanno partecipato l'intera famiglia reale, i ministri e i grandi dignitari dello Stato, i presidenti del Senato e della Camera. ― La benedizione nuziale fu impartita da Mons. d'angenna, arcivescovo di Vercelli, assistito dai vescovi di Casal, Pinerolo, Savona e Biella. L'augusta coppia era inginocchiata sui cuscini ai piedi dell'altare. Ciascuno degli sposi aveva al proprio fianco due vescovi, in manna e rocchetto, come testimoni religiosi. -Fuori dalla balaustra, a destra, dietro la principessa, stava il re, con tutta la famiglia reale; a sinistra, il signor de la Tour-d'Auvergne, ministro di Francia, con il generale Niel, la famiglia del principe Napoleone e il personale della legazione. Gli alti dignitari occupavano il retro della cappella. Le dame di corte avevano preso posto nella tribuna. Dopo le nozze e un breve pranzo in famiglia, il re Vittorio Emanuele, suo genero e sua figlia, accompagnati dal principe di Carignan, dai ministri e dall'intera corte lasciarono Torino domenica, all'una e mezza, per Genova. Il viaggio è stato una standing ovation dall'inizio alla fine. La gente si allineava lungo la strada al passaggio del convoglio, ansiosa di intravedere i lineamenti degli augusti viaggiatori. MARRIAGE OF H.H. PRINCE NAPOLEON WITH H.R.H. PRINCESS CLOTILDE. Sunday in January, at ten o'clock in the morning, the celebration of the religious marriage of Prince Napoleon and Madame Clotilde took place in the private chapel of the royal palace in Turin. -The entire royal family, the ministers and great dignitaries of the State, the presidents of the senate and the chamber attended this ceremony. ― The nuptial blessing was given by Mgr d'angenna, archbishop of Vercelli, assisted by the bishops of Casal, Pinerolo, Savona and Biella.
