Notes: The building was the American officers' club at an internment camp for Prisoners of War during World War II, which, between January 1943 and February 1946 housed first Italian and then German prisoners of war in the United States. The walls of the officers' club are covered with murals depicting western life and folklore, painted by three Italian prisoners.
