in three weeks nearly all the horseswere ready for duty. 1he next item was saddles and bridles which the boysmanufactured in their dreams, at least I suppose theydid, as they always procured them at night. Why theydreamed so many styles of saddles I could never tell. They were all styles, shapes and patterns. Oldmens saddles, young mens saddles and boys saddles, butvery few of the army pattern. I believe they were allmade for the masculine gender as I dont remember anywomens saddles in the lot.
