Stamp of Canada; 1954; definitive stamp of the issue "Queen Elizabeth II – cameo issue"; Depicted is the stamp CAN MiNr0349Ax (2 Cent, 4-sites perforated, from desk sheet Scott No. 402a) with a side portrait of the British queen Elisabeth II with look to left.; Meant is the British Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and 68 further states (this number varied).; She is the Queen since , although the official coronation took place firstly at in Westminster Abbey in London.; It was the first coronation of a monarch which was broadcasted in the TV.; The name "cameo issue" is because in the upper left corner of the 1-Cent-stamp is a symbol to represent one to the primary sectors of Canadian economy.; The symbol on the one-cent stamp is three crystals, representing Canada's mining industry.; The symbol on the 2-Cent-stamp (upper left) is a tree, representing Canada's forst products and forestry; Ca. 68% of the Canadian land mass is covered by forests.; In order to emphasise the importance of the forestry the Canadian government has established in 1960 a "Department of Forestry".; The depicted issue represents a definitive series with historical note, first horizontal format, low-value definitive set, last official stamps issued, precancels, G overprints and tagged stamps were in this set.; postmarked stamp
