He also proposed aprize of $5,000 for the aviator who made theSantiago trip alone. ARMY REORGANIZATION Colonel Hevia gave out a short statementregarding the reorganization of the armedforces of the republic He said that therehad been rumors to the effect that manyofficers would find that their positions wereinferior under the new scheme than under theold; this is incorrect, as though many will findtheir status much improved there is not onewho will be worse off than he was before.
