Описание
English: The UNESCO Executive Board has recently approved the inclusion of 18 new sites into the UNESCO Global Geoparks network, expanding the total count to 195 geoparks across 48 different countries. Among the newly added geoparks is the Lavreotiki UNESCO Global Geopark in Greece. The site, with a total area of 177 square kilometres, is renowned for its rich assortment and diversity of mineral specimens, many of which were initially discovered in the area. The Lavreotiki Geopark is visible in this is 3D rendering of an image acquired by one of the Copernicus Sentinel-2 satellites on 25 May 2023. Copernicus supports the management of geoparks by providing data on land cover, land use and enabling the monitoring of key environmental variables, such as air quality.

  4. adaptation, modification and combination with other data and information;
  5. any combination of points (a) to (d).

GMES dedicated data [...] may be used worldwide without limitations in time.

Conditions regarding information to be given by users
  1. When distributing or communicating GMES dedicated data [...] to the public, users shall inform the public of the source of that data and information.
  2. Users shall make sure not to convey the impression to the public that the user’s activities are officially endorsed by the Union.
  3. Where that data or information has been adapted or modified, the user shall clearly state this.
Absence of warranty

GMES dedicated data and GMES service information are provided to users without any express or implied warranty, including as regards quality and suitability for any purpose.
