At presentthe electric express depot at Schenectady is located at one of the carhouses at Albany and the company is using the express depot jointlywith the United Traction Co. The company has made arrange-ments wilh the Peoples Line, operating on the Hudson River,whereby freight and express is delivered from the boats to theSchenectady Ry. cars at Albany, the goods being delivered inSchenectady at a considerable saving to shippers. The companyhopes to move freight from New York by the Peoples Line andelectric express to Schenectady at the following rates, based uponInterstate official classification as follows: First class, 30 cents;second class, 25 cents; third class, 22 cents; fourth class, 20 cents,with a minimum charge of 40 cents.
