English: Thirteen official titles pertaining to tomb occupants Niankhkhnum & Khnumhotep, who were buried jointly at Saqqara, Dynasty 5, reign of Niussere or Menkauhor, ancient Egypt. In hieroglyphic, read left to right, one title per line. For clarity, spelling varies slightly from examples in tomb. These titles related to the two men's jobs in the bureaucratic state, but more importantly, signified rank and power relative to other officials at court.
