Поле для ввода дат

The changes

@Vlsergey: nice update. People at Women in Red have some problems: en:Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Women in Red#Wikidata gadget. Bugs from me:

• if I want to add claim for article without Wikidata item (probably also for article, which has claim-less Wikidata items), I can't select the needed WD item for value (console outputs: TypeError: t.claims is undefined)
• if I add alias, but no claims, notification says that there were no changes (was using WEF Entity).
• fully personal opinion, but I think that notifications are too much. Most are too technical to be useful for casual users. --Edgars2007 (обс.) 12:59, 15 июля 2018 (UTC)

  • Are you sure that you didn’t forget to press «Enter» and thus «commit» new alias to aliases list? I’ve changed behavior so gadget will also save such «uncommited» aliases for now.

VIAF

В модуле WEF: Коды и cсылки пропала возможность автоматически подгружать элементы нормативного контроля из VIAF, можно вернуть? Да и сам модуль работает довольно «тяжело», из-за подгрузки очень большого количества данных из Викиданных, как-нибудь можно это закэшировать, чтобы все метки и изображения в модуле хранились в хранилище браузера? — evs 💬 05:19, 16 июля 2018 (UTC)

• Подгрузка будет, но позже. Пока не решил, как лучше её интегрировать в новый код. А разумное кэширование есть. В том числе метки свойств хранятся в indexdb браузера. — VlSergey ^(трёп) 08:40, 16 июля 2018 (UTC)

WEF:Ссылки и Викитека

Problems with the tool

Those of us using the tool in connection with Women in Red on the EN wiki have recently been experiencing problems. For recently created articles, the framework options (e.g. WEF: Person} no longer appear in our user page sidebars and we are therefore unable to use the tool for adding Wikidata info on the biographies we create. We are nevertheless still able to use the tool for older articles, for which it functions as before. I notice there has recently been an update to the tool. Perhaps the problems we have been experiencing were unintentional. I hope someone can fix them soon. (cc: Edgars2007, SusunW)--Ipigott (обс.) 09:31, 17 июля 2018 (UTC)

• @Ipigott: there was a problem with adding properties to new entries. It was fixed yesterday evening. May be one need to clean browser cache. But i didn’t find out what is reason for missing links in page sidebars. Is there any suspicious messages in browser console log? @Ipigott, Edgars2007: I was able to finally add information to Enid Gonsalves. But as it is the only one I had not yet entered. It wasn't as the previous entries using the gadget have always been, as some of her information had already been entered by Jura1 and &beer&love. My concern is that when I create a file, like Gonsalves, which has no article on another Wikipedia, will I be able to enter the information as I have been able to in the past, or do I have to wait for someone else to create the entry before I can add information? The latter situation would be problematic for me, as it breaks the routine I have established upon creating an article. It would force me to remember to go back later on each article and update the information, which will definitely result in some files being missed. SusunW (обс.) 14:48, 17 июля 2018 (UTC)

@SusunW: «when I create a file … will I be able to enter the information…?» : yes, you should be able to enter information on new entry. Can you clear browser cache and try again? Thanks, Vlsergey, for working on this. I am pleased that SusunW is able to use the tool for her new articles. I see, for example, she managed to add info on Lina Mathon-Blanchet. I therefore assume she was able to use WEF: Person from her sidebar. Unfortunately, my sidebar still does not display the WEF options for recent articles. I use Firefox. In the event that it helps, I use Firefox too. And yes, I used WEF: Person which does appear in my sidebar. I was able to input the entire entry which was not previously in WikiData. SusunW (обс.) 13:27, 18 июля 2018 (UTC)

Vlsergey: I've solved the problem. Changes have been made - at least to the EN Wikipedia - which mean that the WEF links do not appear in the LH sidebar until you begin to edit the article. Then they are all there with the pertinent link (e.g. WEF: Person) in bold. It's unfortunate that whoever made this change did not notify anyone. Vlsergey: Hey, as pointed above tool links doesn't appear on some articles on enwiki. Some info about such article: it's newly created, isn't linked to an item already. Жирный шрифт ссылок на гаджет

• Он означает, что согласно выставленному на Викиданных типу элемента, все данные редакторы рекомендуется использовать для редактирования. Книга туда попала ошибочно, все остальные вроде верно. Статья в энциклопедии это одновременно и работа, и издание. — VlSergey ^(трёп) 00:17, 21 июля 2018 (UTC)

Поле «основная тема»

Добавьте пожалуйста поле для свойства основная тема (P921) в редактор «Статья». Которое есть в редакторе «Работа» на вкладке «содержание». Сейчас приходится открывать для каждой энциклопедической статьи в Викитеке каждый раз несколько редакторов, Викиданные, и статьи Википедии… Ведь при создании свойства приходится вручную создавать ещё и обратное свойство «описывается в источниках» в элементе темы. Свойства очень важное, поскольку через них связываются статьи разных энциклопедий Викитеке, со статьями Википедии. --Vladis13 (обс.) 03:43, 21 июля 2018 (UTC)

Макет экрана

Что вижу. Что не понимаю:

• Как привести шрифты левого меню (аномально большие) к норме?
• Как привести шрифты самого всплывающего окна (аномально мелкие) к норме?
• Как убрать всплывающие и окна в верхнем правом углу экрана? Иногда они уходят через минуту-другую, иногда замораживаются. Win10/Chrome/Monobook. Retired electrician (обс.) 12:24, 23 июля 2018 (UTC)
• @Retired electrician: шрифты в левом меню сегодня поправлю (уже исправлено в репозитории). А вот шрифты самого всплывающего окна определяются скином для jQuery UI, тут я бессилен. В других скинах для MediaWiki используются другие скины для JQuery UI, можете попробовать переключиться на Vector, например. Не сохраняются изменения

Например, d:Q56222548, пытаюсь через редактор «издание» установить является изданием или переводом (P629) в «Q752285». Изменения не сохраняются. В консоль браузера при обновлении страницы пишется 563 предупреждения, что методы гаджета «depricated». При нажатии «сохранить» пишется «JQMIGRATE: jQuery.fn.andSelf() is deprecated and removed, use jQuery.fn.addBack()», затем красная ошибка «No changes». Гаджет установлен для всех вики и запускал на Викиданных, аналогично не работает со страниц ВП и ВТ. Там и другие важные свойства не записывались. --Vladis13 (обс.) 20:57, 21 августа 2018 (UTC)

JavaScript code not rendering properly on Mac/Chrome

There seems to be a problem with the rendering of the JavaScript snippet on Macs running Chrome.

( mw.config.get("wgDBname") !== 'ruwiki')

is displayed as

( mw.config.get("wgDBname")! == 'ruwiki')

i.e. it is displaying the ! with the space before not after, as if it were natural language not code. It even copies and pastes like that.

I don't know how reproducible this is, I've seen it on a colleague's laptop, but don't have access to others.

Replacing the 'pre' tag with 'code' (using chrome developer tool) fixes the problem, but when I tried that on this page it messed up the formatting. So I'll leave it for someone else to try. Philbarker (обс.) 14:05, 31 октября 2018 (UTC)

Series of dictionary entries being added from Wikisource—desire for quicker entry

Hi. I am generally working on biographical dictionaries where I am adding the entries into WD, current example are the subpages at s:en:Thom's Irish Who's Who/B, with an example of the entry being d:Q68555127, and I am looking to more efficiently and quickly add these works as I create the pages at English Wikisource. Generally the only things modified between entries are the item name, the page(s) reference, and, if the person exists in WD, then the addition of main subject.

So the variation in other biographical works added would be the description to identify the entry is from another work, and to reference a differenty "published in", eg. d:Q67368806.

I have been using the "WEF: article" though still wish to speedy up what I am doing. Is there a means that I can personalise my entry. The "import data" button doesn't guide me on what is needed.

WEF error

Hi. I've been using WEF to make multiple changes to a Wikidata entry in one edit, but recently I'm getting the error "Fetching 50 property descriptions from Wikidata… Failure. @Vlsergey Многие свойства, которые раньше относились к свойство Викиданных, связанное с онлайн-сообществами (Q30041186) переехали в свойство Викиданных для идентификации онлайн-аккаунтов (Q105388954), так что они теперь не показываются в соответствующей вкладке. это частный случай понятия: "литературное произведение" для WEF: FRBR работа

@Vlsergey Исправьте пожалуйста в WEF:FRBR работа. Там свойство это частный случай понятия (P31) по умолчанию должно иметь значение литературное произведение (Q7725634). Сейчас там произведение (Q386724), которое неправильно («произведение» — это фотографии и др.); некоторые библиотечные свойства Викиданных выдают предупреждение об ошибке в связи с этим.

Баг при вводе квалификаторов

Чтобы ввести квалификатор приходится делать много лишних движений: Кликнуть кнопочку слева от поля свойства, кликнуть на список, проматывать и кликать в списке (особенно если нужного нет в списке)… Затем не понятно что делать — оказывается надо кликнуть на пустом месте справа и тогда появится поле ввода, затем ещё раз кликнуть.
Исправьте пожалуйста чтобы поле показывалось сразу. В ранних версиях гаджета это было. Vladis13 (обс.) 21:52, 8 октября 2022 (UTC)

Hello, I use "WEF: FRBR Edition" a lot and it would be great if it were possible to edit sitelink badges with WEF (if it's already possible, I couldn't find how). Badges are small icons (like this one: ) associated with a sitelink, which tell for example the advancement of a Wikisource text (see meta:Wikidata/Development/Badges). Thanks for all!
