Эрл Эдвард Шерфф (англ. Earl Edward Sherff[1], 1886 — 1966) — американский ботаник.
Биография[править | править код]
Эрл Эдвард Шерфф родился 18 мая 1886 года в городе Флинт штата Мичиган[2].
Шерфф получил степень бакалавра ботаники в колледже Альбиона, а затем поступил в Чикагский университет, чтобы получить степень магистра, а затем докторскую степень. Он внёс значительный вклад в ботанику, описав множество видов семенных растений[3].
Эрл Эдвард Шерфф умер в 1966 году[1].
