A few suggestions to improve the article

Firstly excuse me that I write in English. I cannot speak Russian, but was able to understand the article with the help of Google translate. I'm the author "Ixkeys" of the German Wikipedia article "Hang (Musikinstrument) http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hang_(Musikinstrument)" and found the new Russian article today. My congratulation that the Russian Wikipedia now has an own article about the Hang.

I want to contribute some suggestions to improve the article:

1) "то есть hang drum можно перевести как "ручной барабан"." - The Hang makers from PANArt Felix Rohner and Sabina Schärer stated that the name "hang drum" is not the correct name for their instrument. They reject this name because it isn't able to describe the properties of the Hang. A Hang is not a drum. And the translation "hand drum" is explicit false because a hand drum is a different Instrument. The name "hang drum" was invented by a former US Hang distributor ( http://www.hangblog.org/2008/01/30/hang-lexicon/#hangdrum ). Wikipedia is a very important resource for information on the Hang. Therefor I think Wikipedia shouldn't support a wrong name for the instrument. Therefore I suggest to delete the passage.

2) "На стороне DING расположены 8 тональных областей" - The Hang has 7 or 8 tone fields.

3) Ссылки "Официальный сайт инструмента" - www.hang-music.com ist not an "official website". The website is run by a Hang player and has nothing to do with PANArt. I suggest to link the Hang-Music Forum http://www.hang-music.com/forum/ a part of this website and the most visited bulletin board about the Hang.

4) Ссылки - I suggest to add the PANArt Hang Booklet 2008 to the links. It was created by PANArt 2008 and is the newest original Information on the Hang. Website hangmagic.ru

This article is about the Hang by PANArt. Hang (Russian spelling "Ханг") is the individual name of the instrument built by PANArt and it is a registered trademark in many countries including the Russian Federation. It is not a generic term for instruments like Halo, Spacedrum, Caisa, Bali Steel Pan etc.

Recently the website hangmagic.ru was added to the Ссылки section. This website uses the name Hang as generic term for all these instruments usually referred to as handpans. Adding this website as a reference to the article is misleading regarding the topic of the article. Therefor I think, that this website is not an applicable reference according to the Wikipedia standards for references and have deleted it. --Ixkeys 11:52, 31 мая 2013 (UTC)
