Andrey Igorevich Yavny (born February 29, 1980, Lvov, Ukraine) is a Russian popular writer Graduated from Otto von Guericke University of Magdeburg (Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg) in 2005. Also studied at the Munich Academy of Parapsychology and Moscow Institute of Tarology. The author has published a number of essays on the history of occult practices in the Carpathians. He serves as a molfar — Carpathian's magician and fortuneteller. As for the music, he is also a memberof the instrumental improvisations Orchestra called Intuitive Music Orchestra. He participated in the preparations and advertising campaign for the Lviv Publishers’ Forum Among all the other books written by Yavny, the greatest attention has been attracted to Yavny's "Book of answers", which was published in 2014 and prefaced by a film director Roman Viktyuk and a literary critic Danila Davydov. In this book, in a form of an aphoristic collection,the author tried to express both his impressions from travelling to various countries and tips about how to harmonize one’s life and one’s inner world. Danila Davydov believes that this book is generally about "the transformational type of consciousness, which is based on the principle of mutual synthetic interactions of everything in this world", and the experience reflected in this book, "consistent in its inconsistency, simultaneously personal and reaching beyond any «I» ", stylistically defines Yavny's aphorisms, that sometimes are “too simple, but then, on the contrary, are too dark and incomprehensible, but which bunch together-to form a single comprehensible pattern that can be perceived only as a whole".

Yavny’s synthetical style of essays, that are striving to accumulate the materials various religious teachings, spiritual practices and philosophical schools, was also noticed by a literary critic Igor Bondar-Tereshchenko after Yavny's book "Music of forgiveness" had appeared.

Andrey Yavny was also published in "Crimea, I love you!" (2015) – a collection of short stories by Russian writersdevoted to Crimea, which stirred a great publicresponse in the Russian press.
