Publication year

@Maxinvestigator: Sorry for using English here, but I just found out about this template and couldn't help but notice that it does not factor in the crucial information about year of publication (works published posthumously have later copyright expiration dates). The template should have both a year of publication parameter and authorship known parameter because that information is also relevant to copyright calculations. Ideally, it should be something like {{Переход в ОД/для файла|анонимный=да/нет|год смерти автора = #|вов = да/нет|год публикации=#}}. This way, published works without attribution can have calculated copyright expiration dates, and the copyright expiration dates are properly calculated for works published posthumously.--PlanespotterA320 (обс.) 15:15, 1 июня 2020 (UTC)

But we don't want the majority of files in a given PD-by-year category to be in the wrong category because of the publication date issue. The publication date must be a factor. I don't want some admin in the future to en-mass move all the files in a given PD-by-year category without realizing that most of them are not actually eligible for commons. Perhaps then there should be a warning message in the heading of each category with a note that the publication date should be checked (as well as the PD status in the US) before files are moved to commons annually.--PlanespotterA320 (обс.) 15:56, 1 июня 2020 (UTC)
