Dear Drbug. Thank you for your commendation of my works on Slovene main page. I would also like to thank you for your corrections of the page on Slovene language in Russian Wikipedia. Stupid me — yes if I search for the meaning of a word "letter" (which has two meanings here) in English-Russian dictionary and not to think more deeply what I have just translated, then "письмо" (Slovene "pismo") will certainly and wrongly mean "буква" (Slovene "črka"), he, he. Can I ask you this: Shouldn't here a singular form be used? You've changed a term vowel — "гласный звук" to the plural form "гласные звуки". I guess this is a Russian speciality? Many Slovenes think that Russian language is quite simple because "it sounds" ""quite"" equally, but huh — no way: quite a huge difference "Русское имя" and "Русское наименование", isn't it… I am very glad that this short article about my native language sounds correctly now in Russian… I should also train myself a lot more of Russian declension. Yes, there are many misleading words in our very related language — they have common roots, but evolved slightly different… :-) Singular form for "звук" doesn't sound to be in Russian… Notice, that in English there is plural too! Drbug 23:12, 19 Aug 2003 (UTC)

We're using it on Serbian Wikipedia and it enables link trails with Cyrillic unlike here (true, it would pick up some non-letters, like quotes and so, but these are rarely used). Nikola
