Доктор Дэвид Б. Самади (англ. Dr. David B. Samadi) — один из наиболее выдающихся хирургов в области роботической онкологии, оперирующий в городе Нью-Йорк, США. Это первый хирург в США, успешно совершивший повторную операцию простаты с применением робота да Винчи (daVinci®). По состоянию на 2015 год доктор Самади произвел более 6000 лапароскопических операций на простате, мочевом пузыре и почках с использованием робота да Винчи (daVinci®) и признан как выдающийся врач-онколог и эксперт в области роботической хирургии. Доктор Самади разработал уникальную технологию под названием "SMART" (Samadi Modified Advanced Robotic Technique) для лечения рака предстательной железы с использованием робота[1].

Родился и вырос в среде ираноговорящих персидских евреев. В 1978 году в возрасте 15 лет, Дэвид Самади и его младший брат эмигрировали из Ирана после революции 1979 года. Благодаря пожертвованиям друзей и членов Ирано-Еврейского сообщества в Бельгии и Лондоне, Самади приехал в Нью-Йорк, где, выиграв государственную стипендию, он получил высшее медицинское образование в области биохимии.

После прохождения практики и интернатуры в США и Франции, доктор Самади стал одним из немногих хирургов, специализирующихся в трех областях урологической хирургии — открытой, лапароскопической и роботической. На сегодняшний день доктор Самади является Заведующим отделением урологии, директором роботической хирургии больницы Ленокс-Хилл и профессором кафедры урологии в медицинской школе Ховстра Hofstra North Shore-LIJ) Нью-Йорк, США. В 2012 году Дэвид Самади являлся наиболее высокооплачиваемым доктором Нью Йорка, его годовой заработок составил 7,6 млн. долл.[2]

Роль роботической хирургии в урологии

Роботическая хирургия обладает явными преимуществами по сравнению с традиционной открытой хирургией, такими как:

  • короткий послеоперационный период
  • минимальная болезненность
  • меньший риск инфицирования раны
  • минимальный риск кровотечений и необходимости переливания крови

Роботическая хирургия оставляет лишь несколько небольших отметин в области живота, потому что она осуществляется через небольшие отверстия, или, как их еще называют, «замочные скважины».

Одним из важных преимуществ роботической хирургии является то, что у пациентов, особенно после операции на простате, обычно не возникает проблем с недержанием и потенцией[источник не указан 3086 дней].

Роботическая хирургия очень надёжна. Операционный робот находится под полным контролем хирурга и ассистентов и является усовершенствованным инструментом, помогающим произвести операцию с максимальным положительным эффектом и наименьшим риском для пациента.
