Universal Code of Conduct Facilitator
[править код]I work for or provide services to the Wikimedia Foundation, and this is the account I use for edits or statements I make in that role. However, the Foundation does not vet all my activity, so edits, statements, or other contributions made by this account may not reflect the views of the Foundation.

- Carn: Sorry for writing in English. Thanks for your question and other comments there: I understand there is some discussion about the Russian translation here, also there is some collaboration occurring going on in the meta translation workflow.

- There already was attempts to communicate to ru.wp. For example here our community gave strait signal, that it don't like the idea of UCoC. This was totally ignored. So, as @Kaganer said «Foundation officials will flush it [his opinion] down the toilet with 99,9 % probability» - so why bother to do smth, if it will not change anything?Also, we have REAL problems - inability to make hard decisions (polls are chatted up by flooders, voting is not always suitable), and this your activity looks like a populism (which you do, probably, as perceived by us, for the global SJW community). I don’t share many of these thoughts from our section, but you ended up with a very heavyweight survey. For people to participate in such polls, they are given something usually, so that there is motivation to wade through the wording of each question. And what good did the volunteers of our community see from you? So far, they only see threats. ·Carn 07:11, 2 мая 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you Carn for your thoughts, they are useful to my understanding. I have to admit that I only began to work on the UCOC project in 2021 January, so I didn't fully absorb some of the discussions previous. I can see there has been both apprehension and useful input from this community. Right now I am working on highlighting the community thoughts to the drafting committee, and appreciate any additional help you can provide summarizing the remarks in the current consultation. - I myself think that UCoC will not bring office actions (and therefore social problems) in the community. Then I was in ArbCom, we had very warm discussion with Jan Eissfeldt about it. The letter about UCoC from ArbComs wasn't disscused much, but it is the most consensusish thing that you can get from community for now. I can help you to arrange some voting or poll, but questions must pe plain and simple. People don't understand heavy bureaucratic questions. ·Carn 14:39, 5 мая 2021 (UTC)
