Альдо Рустичини (Aldo Rustichini) — профессор экономики в университете Миннесоты. Член Эконометрического сообщества (2004) и Совета по теории игр. Социальная справедливость и заслуги[править | править код]

Одна из тем исследования Рутичини — то, как люди ценят справедливость (к примеру, равенство возможностей и результатов) и заслуги (то есть насколько они и другие заслуживают то, что имеют).

Счастье и доход[править | править код]

Рутичини провёл исследование о том, влияет делают ли деньги людей счастливыми. Он пришёл к выводу, что чем больше у человека денег, тем больше у него проблем. Он говорит, что деньги — это хорошо, но зарабатывать их совсем не легко. Автор задаётся вопросом, действительно ли счастье — это то, что заставляет общество двигаться. Он предполагает, что если бы нам пришлось полагаться на погоню за счастьем, мы бы до сих пор занимались охотой и собирательством.

Рациональность эмоций[править | править код]

В исследовании «Why Blame?» Гардал, Миллер и Рустичини приходят к выводу, что эмоции рациональны. Они изучали последствия выбора, который за них делают другие люди и обнаружили, что они винят этих людей (меньше платят), даже если ясно, что ответственность за результат не лежит на них. Авторы пишут, что люди возлагают ответственность на человека не для того, чтобы показать, что в текущей ситуации он мог бы поступить иначе, а для того, чтобы изменить его. Это называется рациональностью обвинения.

История с детскими садами[править | править код]

Гнизи и Рустичини в статье «A Fine is a Price», 2000, для решения проблемы опоздания в детских садах, ввели в некоторых детских садах штрафы за опоздание. Эти штрафы действовали примерно 2,5 месяца, потом их отменили без предупреждения. авторы пришли к следующим результатам:

  • Количество опозданий родителей за детьми увеличилось после внедрения штрафных санкций;
  • Количество опозданий не вернулось на прежний уровень после отмены штрафных санкций;
  • Авторы решили, что штрафы были восприняты родителями, как плата за опоздание.
