Использование базы данных Википедия

Добрый день!

Меня зовут Андрей Криворучко, компания Санни Мобайл (Украина). Интересует такой вопрос. На каких условиях можно использовать информационную базу Википедии? Разрешается ли это делать вообще? И если да, то как организовать экспорт информации с технической стороны?

Заранее большое спасибо за ответ!

• Любой может использовать информацию из Википедии, но исключительно на условиях лицензии GNU FDL, если вкратце: используемая информация и её деривативные формы в дальнейшем распространяются на условиях той же лицензии, обязательно указание авторства (а для этого нужна ссылка на конкретную статью в Википедии, чтобы можно было посмотреть в истории всех авторов) и т. д. What was the 100,000th article?

I read that the Russian Wikipedia reached 100,000 articles recently. Whereas on the English Wikipedia, some users used special bots to keep track of the countdown and therefore decisively conclude that the Jordanhill Railway Station was the 1,000,000th article, did anyone figure out for sure what the 100,000th article was on here? Image deletion

Hello! I have uploaded a free image about Cristina Scabbia (Скаббиа, Кристина) at Wikipedia Commons (commons:Cristina Scabbia.jpg), thus Изображение:Cristina Scabbia Promo.jpg has became orphaned. Is there any tag similar to en:Template:Orphaned fairuse replaced, indicating the image will be deleted because there is a free replacement? Nevertheless, I would like someone to tag the now obsolete image with the correct deletion tag (that is, if orphaned fair use images are to be deleted like in the English Wikipedia). Article for Ночной дозор (pressure group)

There is an article in the English Wikipedia for en:Nochnoy Dozor (pressure group), a political pressure group made up of ethnic Russians in Estonia. In the Russian Wikipedia, there is a disambiguation page at Ночной дозор. The group has a web site at http://www.pomnim.com/index.html You might want to create an article about the group in the Russian Wikipedia or improve the English article. --TruthbringerToronto 01:30, 24 января 2007 (UTC)

I'm not sure, that an attempt to create an article about this group in other wiki is a best way to show it's notability. Hi, I'm fixing the interwikis in some categories and I noticed something strange. You have a Категория:Наука that includes a Категория:Науки. They both have interwikis to mostly the same places. They have common articles and sub-categories. Other WPs have a hard time deciding where to link the science categorie. Shouldn't they be merged? If not, what is the nuance (too weak for a difference) between them, other than one being the plural of the other? If it needs merging, I can give a hand. Thanks. Русская Википедия

Уважаемые пользователи Рунета!

Обращаю Ваше внимание на то, что название Белоруссия некорректно. В Конституции государства написано название Республика Беларусь.

Прошу внести соответствующие исправления в статьи и изменить "Белоруссия" на "Беларусь".

Бла-Бла тоже про Республика Молдова, но уважаемые Администраторы, с которыми я общался считают что МолдавИЯ выглядет корректнее. Напомню для нашистов(может их здесь и нет!), что В.Путин всегда говорит Молдова. Для других участников скажу, что употребление имперского названия страны вызывает негативную реакцию у уроженцев Молдовы, так что будте осторожней в Р.Молдова и рум-вики!

Передёргивать не надо. Нидерланды в вп правильно названы. А вот с Британией. Не надо путать часть страны с собственно страной. Её истинное название в русском языке — Соединённое Королевство. Но кто принимал решение по переименованию, посчитал, что он умнее и оставил в названии о стране название части страны. Странно тогда, что Нидерланды не Голландия (тоже по части страны). К сожалению, вижу на Вашем замечательном сайте ложь о китайской гимнастике Фалуньгун. Никогда не слышал о том, что те, кто ее занимаются, каким-либо образом нарушали законы своей страны или испытывали ненависть к кому-либо. С чего вы это взяли? Единственное, чего хотят последователи Фалуньгун- это привлечь внимание мирового сообщества к нарушению прав человека в Китае. Они хотят прекратить физическое уничтожение практикующих Фалуньгун, которых сегодня в Китае просто живьем разрезают и извлекают внутренние органы для продажи. Звучит дико, но это так. Насколько я знаю, логотип использовать нельзя (он принадлежит фонду «Викимедиа», и его использование возможно только в изданиях фонда или одобренных Фондом). I don't know enough Russian yet, but I wrote a little article about this museum where I work. Previously I wrote the same in Esperanto. Administrator Кондратьев edited it, and I thank him, but in my opinion he left out important information about the works presented in the museum:

I do understand that the phrase needed to be rearranged as I took it from a flyer, but it gives important information (for instance, the collection of Renaissance art works is the second in France, only behind the one at the Louvre).

Google translations stopped working!

For some reason Google has today stopped translating pages from the Russian Wikipedia. Translations have been working fine until this week. Today, however all translations fail with an error dialog "Internet Explorer can not open web page...". It is impossible to say what on the Wikipedia pages causes the error, as Google is giving absolutely no output. To see the effect go to the English language goolge.com and search for something like Википедия

Хотелось бы, чтобы накопленные Википедией знания находились у новой общественной формации. Естественно речь идёт о государстве. Но более совершенном и построенном на базисе справедливости и взаимной поддержки. Предположим, что то, что есть в данной энциклопедии постоянно развивается и редактируется различными видимыми и невидимыми сказочными существами. Если данное творение само хочет быть миром сказки, то надо ему помочь построить на базе записанных, обобщённых и уточнённых знаний человечества более приземлённую настоящую сказку. Например, подарить жизнь новой игре. Даже есть обсуждаемый вариант названия. Земля это ОТЛАНТИДА. На которой проживают Отланты и Иды. Отланты зарегистрированы и являются резидентами государства, зарегистрированного по системе координат, например, Северного полюса, а Иды на Южный соответственно. При выборе своей половинки каждый Отлант соединяет свою жизнь с одной Идой. В результате , надо включить воображение, проводится меридиан. Ему можно присвоить красивое имя. Но обозначаться это будет естественно понятными всем цифрами. Вот такое предложение хотелось бы высказать посольству Википедии. Предложить дальнейшее обсуждение и рассмотреть возможность начала построения новой игры. Игры в красивых, сильных, умных, духовно развитых, желающих добра и счастья своим родным и близким (прошу коррекции, если угодно и есть идеи) людей. Ведь все мы уже давным давнородственники. В каждом их нас течёт кавпелька крови друг друга.

Another editor created an article about Кожуф in the English Wikipedia. I copied the article to the Russian Wikipedia. Could someone please review the Кожуф article and improve it if necessary? Samar Island Provinces interwiki link issue

Hi! I have noticed that the articles Самар (провинция) and Северный Самар, both have the same interwiki link which is en:Northern Samar. In the Philippines, there are three provinces in the island of Samar namely: Eastern Samar and Northern Samar and Samar (namesake of the Samar Island and formerly Western Samar). I have a hunch that Самар (провинция) is the Samar province. I will leave this to you Russian Wikipedians to decide the necessary correction if there is any. I cannot understand Russian language and it would be imprudent on my part if I correct something which I do not completely understand. В формулах (1) и (2) содержимое в квадратных скобках возводится соответственно в степени 1/3 и 1/2. Возможно, в приведенном тексте это не совсем ясно.

• Как минимум формула (2) очевидно, неверна, так как sin 666 < 1, поэтому величина под корнем меньше единицы. Transliteration question

I'm starting to work on transliterating some U.S. place names into Russian for eventually including them on the Russian Wikipedia. I don't speak Russian, but can read Cyrillic texts for the most part. I'm using a combination of en:Romanization of Russian, the official United Nations romanization guidelines, existing place articles on this Wikpedia, and Google Translate.

It's really a hard work and the best way to do it - take a good official Russian map and use spelling provided there or, if there is no specific place, transliterate them from analogy. See ВП:ГН, ВП:ЗПГН and Англо-русская практическая транскрипция. --Koryakov Yuri 08:43, 11 августа 2009 (UTC)

I have a specific question about how en:Argonne Township, Adams County, North Dakota would be written in Russian. Argonne is pronouced just as in en:Argonne National Laboratory (Аргоннская национальная лаборатория) or en:Forest of Argonne. So, would the transliteration be Аргоннская? I know it can't be Аргон, otherwise it would be confused with Аргон.

Also, how would the following be translated?

• en:Township (United States) or en:Civil township translate? Would it be тауншип or район? Townships are formal, self-governing subdivisions of counties (Округ) but aren't cities (Города).
  • It's rather misleading name because "town" (at least for Russians) must be urban area, and township is rather rural one. So it might be translated as волость (волость (США), compare use of Волость for Township (China)) или сельская администрация (США).

The flag with the axe (here on the right) was the personal flag of Philippe Pétain as Head of State, with his personal symbol on it, not the State flag. Air France head office

I uploaded a fair use image of Файл:Air France HQ.png, a French building. It is at Air France. I took it myself, but France doesn't have freedom of panorama (pictures of buildings take the copyright of the architect), so I cannot upload it to the Commons and it is not replaceable.

Would someone like to translate the description and fair use rationale I left in English?

Also if there needs to be a paragraph in the Air France article explaining the picture, there is a paragraph in English I can paste into the article, and a Russian Wikipedia editor may translate the paragraph

Proposal for GoogleTrans gadget

Hi there,

Sorry about the English.

I have made a GoogleTrans gadget which has been on the enwiki for around a year now. It is also on 9 other wikipedias including the Serbian, the Macedonian, the Ukranian, and the Beloruse.

It functions like the Google toolbar translation feature. When you position the cursor over a word in a webpage and hit the SHIFT key, the Google translation of that word (or of selected text < 500 characters) appears in a popup below the cursor.

The help page for the gadget is at:

(This has instructions on how to port over to other wikis).

It really works well for people who have intermediate Russian as they can easily look up a word they don't know (every 2 or 3 sentences). This is how I use the tool to read French and Spanish webpages. However, the person who knows no Russian (like me) can simply select a sentence or two and have it translated as well. In each popup there is a link to Google Translation Services. If you click on this link then the whole page is translated.

Leider waren fast alle Änderungen die Sie vorgenommen haben nicht ganz korrekt. Ich habe jetzt den Artikel ein bisschen korrigiert, kann aber auch Ihre Änderungen kommentieren.

• 1-й спецстепени -> 1-ой степени (спецяльная верся). Die Wörter "спецяльная" und "верся" wurden falsh geschrieben (richtig wäre "специальная" "версия"). Auch die Änderung "1-й" -> "1-ой" war leider nicht korrekt (s. z.B. http://gramota.ru/spravka/buro/search_answer/?s=1-%FB%E9 ). Dazu konnte ich auf dem o.g. Webseite keine entsprechende Übersetzung finden.
• Большой крест 1-ой степени -> Большой крест 1-ой степени. Das selbe Problem wie oben.
• Медаль заслуг -> медаль. "Медаль заслуг" ist eine wörtliche Übersetzung von "Verdienstmedaille", "медаль" ist dagegen nur "Medaille".

Da alle Ihre Änderung den Artikel ehe verschlechtert als verbessert haben, wurden die auch rückgängig gemacht.

Hello,

I'm doing my project into language processing and I'm using Wikipedia. I want to use several languages in the tests, included the one of this version. And since I need some articles to analyze I wanted to ask for your help. Precisely, some keywords I will explain now.

Actually what I am looking for is a list in your language with the names of those territories which represents an entity of speakers (therefore possible wikipedia contributors) of your language, the name its people or gentilic, and the name of the language (if it is the same language and it has a different name). These territories must be in practice independent from each others or at least be considered so by the speakers. This is the case of colonies, excolonies, other countries which historically speak the same language or minorities attached into the country next to yours.

For example, a list in english something like. "english", "england", "irish", "ireland", "scottish", "scotland", "british", "united_kingdom", "american", "united_states", "canada", "canadian", "australia", "australian", "new_zealand", "new_zealander". Probably there are some others which are not very big but I don't know cuz I'm not familiar.

If you were so kind to produce me this list, I would so appreciate it! Thank you very much!

Problème de traduction russe -> allemand non référencée

Je m'adresse à vous, car je ne maîtrise pas du tout le russe : je peux tout au plus lire, dictionnaire à la main. Or il s'agit d'un problème délicat, où j'ai besoin de bien contrôler ce que je dis.

Je suis en train de traduire l'article allemand de:Fjodor Iwanowitsch Tolstoi en français, ma langue maternelle. Pour éclaircir certains détails, j'ai eu besoin de regarder dans WP:ru, et je suis tombé sur l'article Толстой, Фёдор Иванович, qui lui ressemblait comme une goutte d'eau. J'ai regardé les historiques, et je m'aperçois que l'article russe précède d'un semestre l'article allemand. Or, à ce que je peux en juger, il s'agit d'une traduction quasiment littérale, et il n'y a aucune référence dans l'article allemand à une traduction éventuelle de l'article russe. Or ce dernier a été classé ВП:ИЗБ, et l'article allemand "Exzellent", ce qui est équivalent. Il me semble que les autorités en charge de WP:ru devraient clarifier cette affaire en liaison avec celles de WP:de, et au moins exiger la présence de "Vorlage:Übersetzung" en tête de la page de discussion, et aussi l'équivalent du "modèle:Traduction/Référence" dans les références.

Savoir s'il y a lieu de remettre en question la qualification d'"Exzellent" obtenue sans cette référence ne m'appartient pas. Ils ont fait sauter un certain nombre de citations et d'encadrés, ce qui rend compte de la longueur nettement plus courte (peut-être aussi due à UTF-8).

Mon opinion personnelle, en tant que lecteur très attentif, puisque je suis en train de traduire, est que je me fais blouser.

Foundation Images Policy

Hi everyone,
I am Yosri from Malay Wikipedia. Recently I was informed by certain parties that MS Wiki need to delete any images tagged as Non-Commercial under Foundation Licensing policy. After I have done some studies, I realised that Wikipedia Foundations is moving towards allowing commercialises all images, as such they are acting on behalf of commercial company to require all images loaded with tagging Non-Commercial in all Wiki Project to be removed, including those loaded in local Wiki. You are only allowed to licenses your images under "free content", which specifically allows commercial reuse, example GDLF 1.2. Certain images is exempted under a very narrow EDP ("exemption doctrine policy") definition. If you all already aware about this, please ignore this comment. Scottish place name transliterations

I've noticed a couple of incorrect transliterations of Scottish place names that I'd like to point out. Firstly although there is an "l" in Kirkcaldy it is silent, so the Russian transliteration should be Керкоди, not Керколди. Secondly, the Russian article on Rosyth changed yesterday from "Росайт" to "Розайт". Росайт conveys the "s" sound in Rosyth correctly and Розайт is incorrect. Hello ! I am sorry, I can only speak English. (I am learning some other languages, but I don't know any Russian)

I am trying to improve the Wikipedia article for the International space station (ISS). My special focus is Neutrality, to improve Soviet/Russian and European information. The page used to focus mainly on America.

I want to include pictures from this site http://www.federalspace.ru/main.php?id=69&blogger=&page=2 As an example, I would like to include the following picture http://www.federalspace.ru/img/site/DSC_8077.jpg I do not know the copyright of the picture. I do not speak Russian, so I have a little trouble to ask permission.

The picture you can see on this page is from the American space agency website (NASA). The NASA site has permission for all pictures to be used publicly, so adding them is easy. I'd like to know if it is similar for any Major Russian space website. I would like to know where I can search for good pictures I can add to Wikipedia showing ISS photographs which are up to date, photos taken by Cosmonauts.

The page Википедия:Викификатор/Инструкция по установке is really outdated and only might work on the older (blue) edit toolbar. Right now the button is added like this:

• Editpage.js (called from Common.js ) has the line mwCustomEditButtons['wikif'] = ...
• Then it calls either ToolbarOld.js or ToolbarNew.js depending on the toolbar used.
• Those scripts look at the mwCustomEditButtons object and create buttons defined earlier (Wikifikator and some gadgets).

To avoid possible confusion: mwCustomEditButtons is defined in MediaWiki JS as an array, using it for another purpose is a bit «hackish». Also, most of Wikifikator code is only suited for Russian texts. If you have any other questions you can ask on my user talk page. — AlexSm 14:20, 23 июня 2011 (UTC)

I, Jab7842, have split both the English and French versions of Чемпионат Америки по пляжному футболу, into two seperate versions (one for CONCACAF and one for CONMEBOL). Since I don't know Russian can someone split Чемпионат Америки по пляжному футболу so it can correspond with the English, French, and Spanish Wikipedias.

P.S. Since I also don't know Polish, can someone that knows Polish split the Polish version of Чемпионат Америки по пляжному футболу.

Because "Click!" and "Evenimentul Zilei" it's names of newspapers, they should not be translated. See, for example how it names in Russian wikipedia this newspaper — The Times. But direct translation (with Google translator) will be "Click!" = "Щёлк !" and "Evenimentul zilei" = "События дня". Privyet fellow Wikipedians. I have got a question concerning the Soviet heavy vehicle manufacturer Завод имени Лихачёва. Shouldn't the name be shortened as ЗиЛ, "ZiL", not as ЗИЛ, "ZIL"? When you look into the article, the model names are written as ЗИЛ. Some of the Завод имени И. В. Сталина products are spelled as ЗиС, others as ЗИС.

I have added a new image (File:Dylan_and_Cole_Sprouse_with_Piper.jpg on Commons) to the article Спроус, Дилан и Коул and I moved the old one to a section of the article. I added captions for both images. However, I do not know Russian, so I put them through an online translator. For the new image, I wrote the caption "Dylan and Cole Sprouse with Piper Reese in 2009" which translated to "Дилан и Коул Спроус с Пайпер Риз в 2009 году" in Russian. For the old image, I wrote the caption "Dylan and Cole Sprouse with Gary Spatz" which translated to "Дилан и Коул Спроус с Гэри Шпатц" in Russian. The photograph is actually Brandy Johnson (American Gymnast) NOT Christy Henrich. Both WERE members of the 1989 US National Gymnastics Team, however since Christy is Deceased and Brandy is not, I felt the photo should be taken down until a free version of Christy's image is available.

I questioned this at: en:Wikipedia:Reference desk/Miscellaneous#Russian Wikipedia incorrect photograph for Christy Henrich and I felt my best option was coming here as I didn't want to mess up editing the page correctly as I do not understand Russian, can sound names, how I made sure it was indeed the incorrect photo.

I was given this explanation if I indeed managed to delete the photo, Неправильная фотография с надписью: "Кристи Генрих", лицо на фотографии это "Бренди Джонсон"., But I couldn't find how to do it as easily as it was suggested. I do hope someone is able to correct this error.

it.wiki in trouble, once again, this time is worse than last year

Hi, this is just to let you know that the dangerous law that wasn't issued last year, when we blacked-out the site, is once again under discussion at the Italian Senate. This time things seem to be much much worse than one year ago. The act is now harder and contains many more obligations, so many and so dangerous that no sysops would work at such conditions because it would definitely be too risky. Very few among our users would go on editing BLPs or "spicy" topics any more because it could be very costly: up to 100,000 euros! And any legalised troll saying that something in our articles disturbs him, would be entitled to request an addition (inside the article) which actually we are not going to accept because the troll is not required to be honest and tell the truth, any liar would be legally welcomed and we couldn't even comment... (I'm not kidding, it's incredible but true...)
Moreover, this time the approval could more probably be forced by the so-called technical government (headed by Mr. Monti), and all the bigger Italian parties toghether (Berlusconians hands in hands with former communists - both had separately tried to enforce such an act before) are working for strengthening the act. So, this time we need a critical help from anyone, we need it now because the scheduled vote on next Monday could be the last time we can freely work on it.wiki. We need it strong because main Italian media are simply ignoring our protest, and we can't read any news about it outside the web.

Requesting assistance in the article «Тамилнад»

Hi,

i would like to request assistance in the article Тамилнад. I can understand Russian and I’ve been making changes to the article using an online translator to avoid grammatical mistakes, but it has been reverted now.

Had this been the first time then i would have taken this easier, but earlier even an image change (removed an image of a public bus that was in use 10 years back and replaced it with a recent one) was reverted without an explanation, i clearly don’t understand if an image change would be termed as «machine translation», several image changes too have been reverted without no actual explanation.

The history in the article is completely wrong and it looks to have been purposefully retained, and the articles name should be «Тамил наду» which is a two word Тамил (Tamil) наду (Nadu = Country) which was is wrongly put as «Тамилнад».

I can speak Russian and Write too, but my use of Russian in education seems not enough to write an article of my own, can you suggest me a translator in Russian Wiki who can translate what i have written yesterday? it took me several hours to change those from English to Russian and when requested to the editor who reverted my changes, all i got was a silence, had this happened to a Russian Editor in the English language Wikipedia, i would have been more than glad to be helpful, cause i love the language. If you talk just about two paragraphs, you can add original text (with sources !) on the discussion page and I can add translation. How to extract references from templates?

Could you please give us an example with definite article ? What do you want to copy and from which article ? Help needed for removal/replacement of two misidentified botanical photographs

Dear editors of the Russian Wikipedia,

I have some knowledge about wildflowers in my area (Germany) and sometimes I replace or remove some misidentified plant images from Wikipedia versions in various languages. Mostly this has worked fine so far. In the Russian Wikipedia I ran into some problems, however, because two of my edits were just reverted, even though anyone with decent knowledge of the respective species should be able to recognize that the photographs that I tried to remove or exchange only got onto the respective pages because they were misidentified.

1) I tried to remove Файл:Veronica arvensis blatt.jpeg about two years ago from the Russian page about Veronica arvensis, i. e. from Вероника полевая, because the leaves are obviously from a different species, probably from Veronica hederifolia agg. This was reverted. I left a note on the talk page in English, but nothing happened.
2) Today I tried to replace Файл:Horseradish Armoracia rusticana abloom specimen.jpg by Файл:20140419Armoracia rusticana2.jpg on the page Хрен обыкновенный, because Файл:Horseradish Armoracia rusticana abloom specimen.jpg is a photograph of Cardamine pratensis. Armoracia rusticana has got purely white petals, not pinkish petals, and the number of flowers per inflorescence is very much higher. I asked the author and recategorized the image on Commons.

Unfortunately I do not speak any Russian. Of course I checked the text attached to the images on the respective pages prior to my edits using Google Translate, but I need your help to correct these mistakes in the Russian Wikipedia, because I cannot discuss this in Russian with the people who reverted my edits.

Hard question. First of all, article in which wikipedia do you mean ? If you you talk about article in German wikipedia, please write your request in German wikipedia. Secondly, according to Russian classifier, town Kutusovo (ru:Кутузово (Краснознаменский район)) still exists (as for 01.01.2014). Without population (as it stated in last census), but, as point on map it still exists...

There are different definitions "Kryz language" and "Dzhek dialect" (scientists considered Dzhek as part of Kryz). That's why we can remain current template, because it belongs to "Dzhek dialect" (in other sources "Dzhek language"). Today ru-wikipedia hasn't enough information about Dzhek\Kryz and that's why it has redirect Dzhek>Kryz. Asturian is alive and in use.

Next September 12 and 13, the Asturian Wikipedia community of users will celebrate with the support of Wikimedia España Chapter the tenth anniversary of Uiquipedia, the free encyclopedia in Asturian. The events will take place in Auditorio Príncipe Felipe (Plaza La Gesta, Oviedo).

The first article in Asturian was «Zazaki», a minority language spoken in Turkey. That first edit was in July 26, 2004. Ten years later, more than 800 000 edits have been made on almost 20 000 articles, and numbers are growing every day with the work of tens of volunteers. And it doesn’t stop there: other Wikimedia projects in Asturian have developed, such as Wikicionary, Wikisource and Wikiquote. Managed by Wikimedia Foundation, all of them make part of a global movement that started in 2001 when Wikipedia started with the goal of delivering freely all human knowledge.

To commemorate this date, Uiquipedia and Wikimedia España are carrying out two days of celebration events so that the projects in Asturian are better known. Literature, poetry music and traditions in Asturian will be present. It’s free and everybody is welcome. In addition, Wikimedia España will have its annual General Assembly in Oviedo.
